Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the TagSense web and mobile application operated by Nordic Hill LLC ("we", "us", "our"). By creating an account or using the service you agree to these Terms.

The service

TagSense is a personal collection management app that uses AI to identify and catalog items from photos. We offer a Free plan and a paid Pro plan.

Your account

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and for all activity under your account. You must be at least 13 years old to use the service. You may not share your account with others or use the service to process data on behalf of third parties without our written consent.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Upload content that is illegal, harmful, or violates third-party rights.
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or abuse the service or its AI features.
• Use the service in a way that could damage, disable, or overburden our infrastructure.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

Subscription and billing

The Pro plan is available at $6.00 per month or $48.00 per year, billed in advance. Payments are processed by Stripe.

• Cancellation: you may cancel your subscription at any time from within the app. Your Pro access continues until the end of the current billing period; no partial refunds are issued.
• Free plan limits: the Free plan is limited to 2 collections and 50 items. Exceeding these limits requires a Pro subscription.
• Price changes: we will give at least 30 days' notice before raising subscription prices. Continued use after the notice period constitutes acceptance.

Your content

You retain ownership of all photos and data you upload. You grant us a limited licence to store, process, and display your content solely to operate the service. We do not use your content to train AI models.

We may delete content from inactive free accounts (no login in 12+ months) after 30 days' email notice.

Availability

We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may perform maintenance or updates that cause temporary downtime. We are not liable for losses resulting from service interruptions.

Disclaimer of warranties

The service is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that AI-generated item identification is accurate or complete. You are responsible for verifying any information the service produces.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Nordic Hill LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of data, arising from your use of or inability to use the service. Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 3 months preceding the claim.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved exclusively in the courts of Delaware.

Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms. If we make material changes, we will notify you by email at least 14 days before the changes take effect. Continued use after that date constitutes acceptance.
